Job Description

The Hoxton Shepherds Bush is our fourth London Hoxton and located in the heart of Shepherds Bush, in the beating heart of an eclectic and diverse neighbourhood. It features 237 playfully designed bedrooms and an all-day restaurant - Chets serving Thai American comfort food. The hotel boasts a large open lobby with vintage seating and cosy corners, a central wraparound bar and terrace, making it a perfect base for exploring West London.

What you'll do
  • Create a memorable guest experience that encourages guests to return.
  • Lead by example, coaching and developing the Front Office team to feel empowered and supported, ensuring they provide excellent guest experiences and feel comfortable seeking guidance.
  • Support Duty Managers and collaborate with the team to set sales strategies and maximize occupancy.
  • Handle responsibilities from compliance and departmental budgeting to building relationships with other department heads and the wider team.

What we're looking for

  • A passion for providing great and memorable guest experiences, whether for overnight guests or those just visiting for drinks or a meal.
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager is advantageous but not essential.
  • Enthusiasm for team development with proven coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Experience handling various requests successfully.
  • Familiarity with property management systems such as Micros Fidelio Opera or similar.
  • An individual who values authenticity and diversity, seeking a workplace that embraces individuality.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality in all its forms.
  • A desire to make a positive impact and create memorable experiences for guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, leave egos at the door, and adapt to new challenges.
  • A fun, approachable personality that enjoys working as part of a team and sharing laughs.
