Job summary

Morgan Stanley in London seeks an experienced electronic trading tech lead to advance its delta1 algo trading systems. You will build, deploy and support trading strategies, analytical tools, and scalable engine infrastructure within a fast-moving IT/quant/trading team.

You’ll use core Java in UNIX/Linux, work with front-office traders and quant teams, and contribute across the full software lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

Qualifications

• Expert-level core Java knowledge in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Front-office experience with trading/quant teams.
• Experience with automated market making or algo trading is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and team communication skills.
• Desirable: KDB/Q queries; UI development with HTML5/Angular.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and support trading strategies and analytics tools.
• Develop scalable, low-latency trading engine infrastructure.
• Work with global trading, quant and IT teams across the lifecycle.
• Translate requirements into well-designed, coded solutions.
