Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an Administrator in Cumbria to join a busy, fast-paced environment in West Cumbria. This front-facing role supports daily operations and coordinates deliveries, with an immediate start available.

Pay is £13 per hour. The role is office-based, Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30, with a busy period shift change to 06:00-14:30 next year. You will work closely with the transport team and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Good computer skills and confident with IT systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Well-organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
• A positive attitude and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Managing incoming and outgoing drivers, including booking in deliveries and collections.
• Support the Transport Co-Coordinator to ensure all deliveries are completed and on time.
• Deliver exceptional customer service across all platforms.
• Acting as the face of the business, providing a professional and welcoming first point of conduct.
• Completing general administrative and computer based tasks.
• Work closely with the transport team using support from the business systems and admin team.
