Job summary

Hopetown Darlington is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Team Member to keep public areas and facilities clean, safe and welcoming for visitors. This front-facing role requires a reliable, flexible team player who can follow cleaning procedures and health and safety rules while delivering a positive visitor experience at a busy heritage site.

Experience in cleaning or housekeeping and good communication skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas and facilities to a high standard.
• Ensure the venue remains clean, tidy, safe and presentable for visitors.
• Carry out general housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
• Follow cleaning procedures, instructions and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the site.
• Respond flexibly to changing duties and operational requirements.
• Assist visitors when required and provide a welcoming and helpful service.
• Work effectively as part of the wider Hopetown Darlington team.
• Take pride in maintaining a positive environment for visitors and colleagues.
