We are a team of independent thinkers who prioritize quality, inclusion, and integrity. Globally, we bring diverse experiences to our clients, providing a better, more personalized, proactive, and agile service. That is Grant Thornton.

Job Description:

Front of House Manager

Location: Can be based from any of our GTUK offices outside of London.

Working arrangement: Hybrid working with national travel.

Our vision: NEW GROUND WON’T BREAK ITSELF.

Every day, our teams help businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals.

We aim to provide best-in-class offices designed to support our ways of working and aligned with our sustainable property guidelines. The Property and FM teams at Grant Thornton manage the firm's estate and enhance the employee experience within those spaces.

We are establishing a new team of Front of House specialists through an outsourced provider and need an experienced individual to deliver exceptional client and employee experiences. This team will ensure colleagues look forward to office visits, have the necessary resources to work effectively, and that our guests and clients feel valued, leaving a positive impression of Grant Thornton.

Role overview:

As a Front of House Manager within our Property and FM team, you will:

  • Own the outsourced FoH contract, develop service excellence, set service levels, and drive ESG initiatives.
  • Lead and motivate the FoH team to provide outstanding customer service, including managing client and internal events.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as location leads, landlords, managing agents, suppliers, consultants, and colleagues to deliver top-tier service and continuous office experience improvements.

Candidate profile:

The minimum requirements include strong experience in contract and office management, team management, and willingness to travel across UK offices when necessary.

Preferred skills include:

  • Customer service and leadership experience in a corporate setting.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness, proactivity, organization, and collaboration.
  • Health & Safety knowledge related to office management and understanding of landlord-tenant roles in multi-let buildings.
  • Interest in ESG and driving sustainable change.

Why join us:

At Grant Thornton, we celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive culture where everyone’s contributions are valued. We encourage you to bring your whole self to work, pursue your passions, and grow professionally and personally.

We support flexible working arrangements to help balance work and life commitments.

Beyond the role, you'll have opportunities to contribute to societal good through secondments, charity work, and supporting entrepreneurs worldwide. Our values—purposeful, curious, candid, and kind—guide everything we do.

We seek individuals eager to contribute, innovate, and exceed expectations—people committed to doing what's right for the firm, clients, colleagues, and themselves. That’s how it should be.
