Job Title : Front of House Manager
Hours : 40 per week
Rate of Pay : £13.50 per hour
Location : Grove Park

A typical day in the life of a Front of House Manager:

  1. Lead, train and motivate the front of house team to provide outstanding customer service.
  2. Perform Duty Manager duties such as being a key holder, and having responsibility for unlocking/locking the building if the DM is closing/opening the club. Along with assisting with crisis management.
  3. Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
  4. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and support to team members.
  5. Ensure that all members and guests are greeted warmly and assisted promptly.
  6. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  7. Create a welcoming environment and ensure the front of house area is always clean and organised.
  8. Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, including managing bookings, processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
  9. Monitor and manage front of house supplies and inventory with revenue targets.
  10. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  11. Develop and implement strategies to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.
  12. Organise and participate in member events and activities to foster a sense of community.
  13. Assist with budgeting and financial planning for the front of house operations.
  14. Promote club programs, services, and events to members and guests.

What we are looking for:

  1. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within customer service or hospitality environment.
  2. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences.
  5. Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
  6. The ability to establish rapport, build trust and demonstrate credibility.
  7. Basic financial acumen and experience with budgeting and reporting.
  8. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Hours can be 5.30am starts to 10.30pm finishes.

It would be desirable if you were proficient in using computer systems and software including CRM Systems.
