Job summary

Pasture Birmingham is seeking a confident Door Host to join our Front of House team. As the face of the restaurant, you’ll greet guests, manage bookings and walk-ins, and ensure a smooth welcome that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.

With experience in restaurant reservations and a calm, guest‑first approach, you’ll use SevenRooms or similar systems to coordinate arrivals, wait times, and VIP bookings while keeping the service team in sync.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant reservations or guest bookings.
• Familiarity with SevenRooms or similar systems.
• Strong people skills, warm and professional.

Responsibilities

• Greeting every guest with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Managing walk-ins, bookings, waitlists, and table turns with confidence and clarity.
• Using SevenRooms (or similar systems) to manage bookings, notes, and guest preferences.
• Communicating with the floor team to maintain pacing and maximise covers.
• Handling phone and email enquiries with a guest-first attitude.
• Being proactive and calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ensuring that every guest feels seen, valued, and excited to be with us.
