Brend Collection is hiring a Front of House cleaner for The Barnstaple Hotel. You will maintain high cleanliness across bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas, while communicating with other departments and upholding safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness in all hotel bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas.
• Report maintenance issues thoroughly.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to customers.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report concerns.
• Comply with HASAWA, fire precautions and legal requirements, assisting other departments as needed.
• Maintain good working relationships and assist where necessary.

What will I be doing?

As Front of House cleaner at The Barnstaple Hotel you are responsible for cleaning all public areas to a high standard, communicating with other departments, working effectively within a team or on your own as well as achieving departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness in all hotel bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas
• Ensure thorough reporting of any maintenance issues
• Friendly and professional customer service when dealing with customers
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any concerns
• Understand and comply with company policy on HASAWA, fire precautions, legal requirements, and perform any other tasks that may be required from time to time.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
• Ensuring the correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
