Job summary

BaxterStorey in the United Kingdom is seeking a hospitality team member for a part-time role (20 hours per week) at Perkins sites. You will assist with food service, maintain high standards, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

You’ll follow food safety procedures, handle basic prep under supervision, and benefit from generous benefits including free meals on shift, seasonal leave, pension contributions, and cycle scheme. No prior experience required – training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge (training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, portioning and presentation of food items.
• Serve customers politely and efficiently, maintaining portion control and service standards.
• Set up, replenish and clear service counters throughout service periods.
• Respond to customer queries and requests promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming service environment.
• Assist with basic food preparation under supervision.
• Support the smooth running of break times, meal periods, hospitality events and ad‑hoc service requirements.
• Follow all operational procedures, including allergen management and labelling.
• Follow all food safety, HACCP and hygiene procedures.
• Report hazards, maintenance issues or incidents immediately.
• Comply with company policies, including health & safety, safeguarding (if applicable), and confidentiality.
