Job summary

BaxterStorey is looking for a Front of House Catering Restaurant Assistant in Methley to join our contract catering team. You will support daily service, maintain high food quality and hygiene, and lead by example in a fast‑paced environment.

The role is 21 hours per week, 3 days over 7, with a pay rate of £12.99 per hour. We offer extensive benefits, training, and development opportunities within a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to follow hygiene and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support catering staff during daily service.
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are delivered.
• Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Assist with cash handling and daily reporting where required.
• Help achieve financial targets and minimise waste.
