Klondyke is seeking a Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistant for our restaurant located in Howdens Garden Centre. You will deliver friendly, attentive service and help guests choose from our food and beverages, while working closely with FOH and kitchen teams to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

We offer a competitive hourly rate (£10.40–£12.75), 30 hours per week over 5 days with weekend work required.

Qualifikationen

• Friendly, with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well in a team and stay composed under pressure.
• Willingness to work weekends and learn on the job.
• Barista experience is helpful but not required.

Aufgaben

• Set up and maintain the front of house area to company standards.
• Present menus, take orders, and assist customers with food and beverage choices.
• Provide counter service and prepare beverages.
• Deliver meals to tables as needed and ensure hygiene of tables and areas.
• Process payments at electronic till points and handle POS duties.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks and close front of house areas daily.
• May assist with back of house tasks when required.

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistant to join the team in our Restaurant in Howdens Garden Centre.

Our competitive rate of pay ranges from £10.40 to £12.75 per Hour dependent on age.

The hours for this role are 30 per week over 5days. This will involve weekend work so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Front of House Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, take orders, and serve our fantastic food and drinks to our customer. You will need to have full knowledge of the food and beverage menus and will work closely with your FOH and kitchen teams to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.

What you will be doing as a Front of House Assistant?

• Set up and maintain the front of house and counters each day to our company standards
• Presenting menus, serving, and helping customers select food and beverage by offering suggestions
• Providing Counter Service and preparing beverages.
• Deliver our Chef prepared meals to customers at their tables
• Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness
• Processing payment at electronic till points
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed
• Closing front of house areas each day to our company standards
• May be required to assistwith back of house duties
