Job summary

William Strike Ltd in Wales is seeking a Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistant for the Holland Arms Garden Centre restaurant. The role offers 20 hours per week over five days, with weekend flexibility and a competitive hourly rate (£10.40–£12.75, age-dependent).

You will greet customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages, while maintaining knowledge of the menu and ensuring smooth restaurant operations in collaboration with FOH and kitchen teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain front of house areas to company standards.
• Present menus, take orders, and serve food and drinks.
• Provide counter service and prepare beverages.
• Deliver meals to customers at their tables.
• Ensure tables are prepared with hygiene and cleanliness.
• Process payments at till points.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed.
• Close front of house areas at end of day.
• Assist with back of house duties if required.

FOH Assistant, Holland Arms Garden Centre

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistant to join the team in our Restaurant in Holland ArmsGarden Centre.

Our competitive rate of pay ranges from £10.40 to £12.75 per Hour dependent on age.

The hours for this role are 20 per week over 5days. This will involve weekend work so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Front of House Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, take orders, and serve our fantastic food and drinks to our customer. You will need to have full knowledge of the food and beverage menus and will work closely with your FOH and kitchen teams to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.

What you will be doing as a Front of House Assistant?

• Set up and maintain the front of house and counters each day to our company standards
• Presenting menus, serving, and helping customers select food and beverage by offering suggestions
• Providing Counter Service and preparing beverages.
• Deliver our Chef prepared meals to customers at their tables
• Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness
• Processing payment at electronic till points
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed
• Closing front of house areas each day to our company standards
• May be required to assistwith back of house duties
