Job summary

William Strike Ltd. is seeking a Front of House Assistant for Houghton Hall Garden Centre. This part-time permanent role includes 24 hours over 3 days or 16 hours over 3 days, with weekend shifts and a competitive pay rate of £10.40 to £12.75 per hour.

You will provide excellent customer service, take orders, serve food and drinks, and coordinate with FOH and kitchen teams to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Friendly, engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
• Barista experience preferred but full training provided.
• Great teamwork and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up front of house and counters to company standards.
• Present menus, serve and help customers choose food and drinks.
• Provide counter service and prepare beverages.
• Deliver meals to customers at tables.
• Prepare restaurant tables with attention to hygiene.
• Process payments at electronic till points.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed.
• Close front of house areas to standards.
• May help with back of house duties.

FOH Assistant, Houghton Hall Garden Centre

We are looking for Part Time Permanent Front of House Assistants to join the team in our Restaurant in Houghton Hall Garden Centre.

Our competitive rate of pay ranges from £10.40 to £12.75 per Hour dependent on age.

Roles available are 24 hours per week over 3days & 16 per week over 3 days. All positions involve weekend work so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Front of House Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, take orders, and serve our fantastic food and drinks to our customer. You will need to have full knowledge of the food and beverage menus and will work closely with your FOH and kitchen teams to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.

What you will be doing as a Front of House Assistant?

• Set up and maintain the front of house and counters each day to our company standards
• Presenting menus, serving, and helping customers select food and beverage by offering suggestions
• Providing Counter Service and preparing beverages.
• Deliver our Chef prepared meals to customers at their tables
• Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness
• Processing payment at electronic till points
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed
• Closing front of house areas each day to our company standards
• May be required to assistwith back of house duties
