Summary

We are looking for a Technical Architect to work on the front-end of our Remote Gaming Platform. Our RGP is an innovative platform that delivers world-class games and provides a rich ecosystem for a better gaming experience. Deployed across multiple jurisdictions, it integrates with various operators, serving millions of players globally.

Roxor is a product-led organization. As a front-end Technical Architect, you will own the technical direction of several products and capabilities at Roxor. This involves close collaboration with Product Owners, other Architects, and stakeholders in business and operations to help development teams realize desired features and technical enhancements.

You will also work with the Architecture team to define the future state of our platforms, including technologies and processes. Our architecture focuses on enabling development teams and the business to deliver value efficiently.

Roxor systems are cloud-native and highly distributed, often running in the public cloud. We emphasize high CI/CD, QA automation, and infrastructure as code.

What You'll Do

• Own the technical roadmap, long-term vision, and final solutions
• Provide guidelines and support for high-quality solutions
• Offer technical support and assist in problem analysis and resolution
• Help estimate project timelines and resources
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional, non-functional, regulatory, legal, security, and compliance requirements
• Perform technical comparison analysis against competitors
• Mentor and support team members to develop their technical skills

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and related technologies such as WebSockets, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React and Angular
• Working knowledge of Python
• Solid front-end security experience, including CORS and Content Security Policy headers
• Experience with network routing and web server technologies such as Nginx and Envoy Proxy
• Experience with on-premise S3-compatible storage solutions like Minio or Zenko CloudServer
• Good understanding of container technologies, ideally Kubernetes
• Experience with Service Mesh technologies like Istio and understanding of Envoy proxy usage
• Ability to apply critical thinking to resolve live issues promptly
• API design and system integration skills (REST, RPC)
• Experience with continuous delivery and integration
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, Kanban
• Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
