Ardagh Glass Ltd. in Rugby is seeking a proactive Shift Technician for the Front End (Green Shift). You will join a 4 on 4 off nights crew, running and maintaining can manufacturing equipment to keep KPI targets and quality standards.

The role requires an apprenticeship in manufacturing, GCSEs including Maths/English, and a solid track record in preventative maintenance and safe working practices. A strong team player with problem‑solving skills is essential.

Formación

• 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English.
• Recognised Time Served Apprenticeship.
• ONC / HNC Qualification or equivalent.
• English written and verbal.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Apprenticeship in a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering discipline.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety work practises.
• Experience of preventative and planned maintenance on production equipment.
• Experience of repairing spare parts for production machinery.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail.
• A team player with strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work alone under their own initiative.
• Flexibility or willingness to travel to other locations.

Responsabilidades

• Operate can manufacturing equipment to meet KPI targets.
• Maintain equipment to ensure smooth production and quality.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs as directed by Engineering.
• Report non-conformities and maintain safe working conditions.
• Promote quality improvements and participate in continuous improvement.
