Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking a Shift Technician to join the manufacturing area and support the smooth running of the production line, maintaining equipment to meet KPI targets and quality criteria. The role requires a time-served apprenticeship, GCSEs including Maths and English, ONC/HNC or equivalent, and hands-on maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English.
• Recognised Time Served Apprenticeship.
• ONC/HNC Qualification or equivalent.
• English written and verbal.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Experience in preventative and planned maintenance on production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to meet KPI targets.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs and setup checks as directed.
• Report non-conformities to the Team Leader and relevant department.
• Promote quality improvement and safety in daily operations.
• Follow health and safety requirements and company procedures.
