Job summary

State Street is seeking a Front End Developer to join our Digital Asset team in the UK. You will build, enhance and maintain user-facing web apps that power financial services platforms and operational workflows, focusing on secure, performant interfaces that consume REST APIs.

You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, work within enterprise design standards, participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to documentation and testing to ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on frontend development with modern JS frameworks.
• Integrate with REST APIs and handle data flows.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and design systems.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, version control, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces for financial services applications using modern front-end frameworks.
• Implement UI components that integrate with REST APIs and ensure proper data handling and performance.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into high-quality, accessible frontend code.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver incremental features meeting acceptance criteria.
• Write and maintain unit and component tests to support quality and regression coverage.
• Ensure consistency with design systems and enterprise UI standards, and assist with production readiness.
