Weis Markets is looking for an associate to join our front-end team in a friendly, fast-paced environment. You will greet customers, operate the checkout, and help ensure a smooth shopping experience while following store policies and safety guidelines.

The position requires high school level education or current progress toward it, and no previous experience is required. We offer competitive hourly pay and a benefits program.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions in a polite and professional manner.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register.
• Bag merchandise and assist customers with cart loading.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and proper payment handling (cash, check, card, coupons).
• Follow store policies and legal guidelines for tobacco and alcohol sales.
• Keep department clean and stocked; follow health and OSHA requirements.
