Job summary

Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking an experienced Social Worker/Team Manager to lead the Children’s Advice and Support Service (CASS) frontline team. You will oversee timely, robust, child-centred decision-making and work with police, health, education and voluntary partners to ensure positive outcomes for children and families.

The role is hybrid and based in Birmingham. You should reside within commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership to guide a busy front door service (CASS).
• Experience in partnership working, audit, quality assurance and performance oversight.
• Ability to use management information systems to monitor and improve practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to deliver high-quality safeguarding and child-centred decisions.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners including police, health, education and voluntary sectors.
