Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Preston is seeking two part-time Security Officers to join the Front of House Security Team at Springfields Fuels Ltd. These permanent roles report to the Security Management Team and run 07:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with a 2-days-one-week and 3-days-next-week pattern.

You will be the first point of contact on site, greeting visitors, conducting bag searches, and assisting in maintaining overall security and regulatory compliance at the Springfields site.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience
• SIA licence or willingness to obtain one
• Customer service mindset and ability to interact with a range of people

Responsibilities

• Protect property and people in line with site AI's and SLAs
• Welcome visitors and support reception activities
• Conduct searches of personal baggage/luggage as required
• Maintain safety and security procedures on site
• Support emergency evacuation procedures and incident reporting
• Ensure compliance with policies, UK law and regulatory requirements
