Job summary

Ward Security is seeking an experienced Security Officer for a busy corporate site in Moorgate, London. You’ll provide a visible, professional front-of-house presence, manage access, monitor CCTV and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (CCTV licence preferred) and offers a rotating 4-on, 4-off schedule averaging 48 hours per week with a competitive pay rate of £15.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence is essential.
• SIA CCTV Licence preferred but not essential.
• Must be able to provide 5+ years of checkable history per BS7858.
• Excellent customer service and strong verbal/written English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional front-of-house service and manage site access for staff, visitors and contractors.
• Monitor CCTV and access control, and respond to alarms and incidents.
• Carry out regular patrols of public areas, perimeters and plant rooms.
• Identify and report security, health and safety concerns with clear escalation.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies with sound judgment.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and shift handover records.
• Uphold Ward Security standards while delivering outstanding customer service.
