Job summary

Ward Security Limited is seeking an experienced Security Officer for on-site duty at a busy Moorgate location in London. You will deliver a professional front-of-house service, manage access, and maintain high security while assisting staff, visitors and contractors.

The role requires vigilance, strong communication, and the ability to work a rotating 4-on, 4-off schedule averaging 48 hours per week. SIA licences are essential, with CCTV licence preferred but optional.

Qualifications

• Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence is essential.
• SIA CCTV Licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver front-of-house service and manage site access for staff, visitors and contractors.
• Monitor CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems; respond to alerts.
• Carry out regular patrols of public areas and perimeters; report vulnerabilities.
• Identify and escalate security, maintenance and health & safety concerns promptly.
• Respond effectively to incidents and emergencies with calm, professional conduct.
• Maintain accurate incident reports and handover documentation.
• Uphold Ward Security’s standards and deliver excellent customer service on every shift.
