Job summary

Dakota in Manchester is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, and handle guest requests with a proactive, guest-centred approach.

The role requires strong administration and communication skills, familiarity with Front Office systems, and the ability to work flexibly across shifts. Two years in hospitality is preferred, ideally in 4- or 5-star hotels.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in hospitality/hotel setting.
• Ability to prioritise and work at pace.
• Experience in 4*/5* hotels preferred.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Hands-on approach and flexible shifts.
• Familiarity with a property management system desirable; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and checking in/out.
• Take ad hoc requests, make reservations, assist with directions and deliveries.
• Maintain high guest service levels per brand values.
• Know and operate Front Office computer systems.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth operations.
