Job summary

Whitbread’s Poole North Premier Inn is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member. This 16-hour-per-week, fixed-term role pays up to £13.06 per hour and runs until October 2026. Location: Cabot Lane, Poole.

You’ll welcome guests, help them check in, serve breakfast or dinner, answer questions and keep reception, restaurant and public areas tidy. Shifts include evenings and weekends, with busy periods.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; we’ll teach you.
• Friendly, enjoy helping people and stay calm when busy.
• Experience in retail, cafés, pubs or customer service is valued.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in.
• Serve breakfast or evening meals.
• Answer questions and solve guest problems.
• Keep reception, restaurant and public areas clean and welcoming.
• Support teammates across the hotel during busy periods.
• Ensure guests feel looked after from arrival to departure.
