Surrey Police Service is seeking Police Enquiry Officers for the Front Counter at Epsom Council Offices. The role involves handling public enquiries, initial information gathering, and recording on systems while maintaining a professional standard.

Starting salary is £26,875, rising annually, with full training before transfer to the Front Counter. Flexible working and comprehensive benefits are highlighted within the post.

Formación

• Previous customer service is essential.
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute and good IT literacy.
• English and Maths GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or over on the day you submit your application.
• Have leave to enter or remain and work in the UK for an indefinite period.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee opening and closing of the Police Counter at published times.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including high ranking officers.
• Gather information with questioning skills and record it on our systems; risk assess incidents and notify the right teams.
• Record intelligence and share with other parts of the organisation to inform policing operations.
• Assist colleagues by handling reports of incidents and crime via the website and email requests.
