Job summary

Sigma Recruitment is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer in the UK to move off the tools and join a small sales team. You will read drawings, quote customer designs, process orders, and build workshop job packs, while maintaining accurate records for thousands of products.

Expect a Monday–Friday role from 8:30am to 5:00pm (4:30pm finish with a shorter lunch). Salary ranges from £30,000 to £35,000 plus a 6% pension and annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Confidence using a PC, including Excel.
• Capability to manage several live jobs at once without losing track.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings and build workshop job packs.
• Quote from customer designs and material specifications.
• Process orders and answer customer queries.
• Order materials and coordinate with suppliers.
• Keep records accurate across 25,000 products.
