Job summary

Sigma Recruitment Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to move from the tools into a sales-focused role. You will read engineering drawings, build workshop job packs, quote from designs and material specifications, process orders and keep records for a vast range of products.

The role finishes by 5:00 PM, or 4:30 PM with a shorter lunch, five days a week, offering 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a 6% employer pension with the potential for an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient PC skills, including Excel.
• Capability to manage several live jobs at once without losing track.

Responsibilities

• You'll be a key part of a small sales team, the main point of contact for customers and suppliers alike.
• Read engineering drawings and build workshop job packs.
• Quote from customer designs and material specifications.
• Process orders and answer customer queries.
• Order materials and coordinate with suppliers.
• Keep records accurate across 25,000 products.
