Job summary

Stir is seeking a Catering Assistant to be the face of our service, delivering friendly, high-quality meals to students and staff in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with meal preparation, serve at tills, maintain a clean kitchen, and support chefs in bringing our menus to life. The role offers Monday–Friday weekday hours, term-time scheduling, and ongoing learning opportunities, with a mandatory enhanced DBS disclosure. Training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills are required or preferred.
• Friendly, versatile personality suitable for a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety practices; training provided where needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and operate tills (training provided).
• Assist chefs with meal preparation and food service.
• Keep kitchen clean and organised; adhere to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety guidelines.
