Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in the United Kingdom. You will meet customers at their homes, delivering groceries with a smile and ensuring orders arrive in perfect condition.

The role is hands-on, physical, and varied, with independent days and a supportive team at base when needed. Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores; minimum 16 hours per week, with roles from 12 hours available.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs while out on the road and in the store.

Responsibilities

• Keep the van, trays, and work area clean, tidy and organised so customers receive shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and handle refunds to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot and provide warm, natural service at the doorstep.
