Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to represent the brand on the road and deliver groceries directly to customers’ homes. This role blends driving with hands‑on service, offering a welcoming approach and reliable, friendly support to shoppers.

Roles are varied and independent with daily teamwork back at base. Pay starts at £14.18 per hour and rises to £15.45 in M25 stores; minimum 16 hours per week, with some roles from 12 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays, and work area clean, tidy and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure it’s roadworthy and ready to deliver great service.
• Explain order changes, substitutions or short‑dated items clearly to customers and offer refunds when needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care and treat every order as your own to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep and making customers feel valued.
