Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to represent the brand on the road, delivering groceries to customers’ homes with a smile. You’ll be hands-on, busy, and work independently much of the day, supported by a team back at base.

Starting pay is £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12-hour shifts. A varied, customer-focused role awaits.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised to deliver orders in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness and reliability.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers, offering refunds when needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care, maintaining quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with friendly service at the doorstep.
