Job summary

Tesco’s Customer Delivery Drivers meet customers in their homes, providing more than just a delivery service. The role is hands-on, varied, and requires independence with strong managerial support when needed.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour and rises to £15.45 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12-hour shifts in some locations. As part of the Tesco team, you’ll stay organized on the move, communicate clearly with customers, and ensure every order arrives

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience preferred.
• Valid UK/EU driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Friendly and responsive service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays, and work area clean, tidy and organized.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions clearly and handle refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and trust.
• Deliver within customers’ time slots and provide a warm, helpful doorstep service.
