Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Wrexham is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for the Wrexham store. The role is part‑time (15 hours per week) on a fixed-term assignment. You will deliver customer orders to doorsteps with care and uphold high service standards.

Join a busy store environment, drive a refrigerated van, perform routine vehicle checks and follow planned routes to ensure timely deliveries. The job includes some store support and training on safety and delivery technology.

Qualifications

• You must be over 18 years old and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it
• You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
• Sainsbury’s has implemented in-cab AI cameras to monitor driver behaviour and road safety

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep you deliver to, making customers feel valued through a thoughtful, friendly delivery service
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries to customers on time and in great condition
• Complete checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean and organised, and that customers’ shopping is secure before setting off
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying locations, traffic, weather and road conditions
• Move containers weighing up to 15kg and deliver shopping to properties that may have steps, lifts or longer walks from the van
• Communicate with customers effectively, keeping them informed of delays and handling queries about their order
• When not delivering, assist across the store as needed
