Job summary

AMFRESH Group is hiring Quality Controllers for our Peterborough site to inspect materials and products, record results, and produce inspection reports. You will work on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern from 06:00 to 18:00, with an hourly rate of £13.70 paid weekly.

The role offers a clear progression path from Level 1 to Level 3 and long‑term career development within a large global fresh produce business. You’ll be part of a diverse team in a modern facility supplying Tesco.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and timekeeping.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks on time.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willingness to learn, build new skills and progress through our Quality Controller levels.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet customer quality and integrity standards.
• Record inspection findings accurately using paper records and tablets.
• Provide Quality Inspection Reports to our Procurement teams.
• Meet monthly targets for compliance, accuracy and productivity.
