Asda Stores Ltd in Plymouth is seeking a Fresh Manager to lead the Fresh department, driving best availability and high shop floor standards. You will ensure date code compliance, waste control, and safety for customers and colleagues while supporting store profitability.

You will lead a team, coach performance, and manage shifts to deliver exceptional service, with opportunities to drive continuous improvement and strong customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge on food or non-food departments.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fresh department execution to deliver best availability and shop floor standards through brilliant execution, managing waste and date code compliance while ensuring store safety and legality for customers and colleagues.
• Lead the shrink agenda through the Fresh team, driving standards and inputs with clear actions.
• Lead and develop the team to create a customer-focused selling environment.
