Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner for a leading fresh food manufacturer in Wisbech. The role focuses on balancing demand with production capacity, raw material availability and inventory to ensure timely delivery and minimal waste in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

You will work with production, procurement and warehouse teams to maintain product availability, update orders, and optimize planning data.

Qualifications

Experience within Production Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Materials Planning or Inventory Planning.
Previous experience within food manufacturing, fresh produce, chilled food or another fast-paced FMCG environment.
Strong Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate data, work with tables and troubleshoot formulas.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies in data.
Experience working under pressure and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge and resolve issues quickly.
ERP or MRP system experience would be advantageous, although Excel remains the primary planning tool.

Responsibilities

Creating and adjusting production plans to meet changing customer demand.
Managing finished goods and raw material inventory.
Raising, monitoring and updating orders and stock requirements.
Working closely with production, procurement and warehouse teams to ensure product availability.
Monitoring stock levels and helping minimise waste across short shelf-life product categories.
Maintaining planning data and reporting tools.
Identifying potential supply issues and resolving them before they impact customers.
