Job summary

MorePeople is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business to appoint a Supply Chain Planner. This role focuses on materials planning, production scheduling and stock management within a fast-paced chilled and frozen environment.

You will plan raw material requirements using ERP/MRP, coordinate deliveries, manage production schedules and collaborate with production, procurement and commercial teams to drive efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, materials or production planning.
• FMCG/food manufacturing experience advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong Excel skills and an analytical approach.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan raw material and packaging requirements using ERP/MRP systems.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
• Work closely with production, procurement and commercial teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support forecasting, stock management and continuous improvement initiatives.
