SIG plc. is seeking a Group Internal Audit Manager for a maternity cover role focused on SIG France. You will own the internal audit programme, report to the Group Head of Internal Audit, and engage with senior stakeholders across a pan-European group.

This role blends home-based work with occasional UK travel. You will lead audits across operations in France, using data analytics and AI-augmented tools to enhance assurance and risk focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk-based internal audits for multi-site or international groups.
• Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIA or CMIIA is required, fluency in French essential.
• Able to travel regularly to branches and locations across France; home-based with UK site visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage full audit lifecycle for SIG France, from risk assessment and planning through fieldwork, reporting and follow-up.
• Provide independent assurance, challenge and practical recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Engage with senior Finance and operational leaders to understand business context and risks.
• Support data-led audit approaches and use analytics to identify trends and control exceptions.
