Job summary

Aila Recruitment is partnering with a leading UK manufacturing and retail business to appoint a Group Internal Audit Manager. Based at Northampton or Watford with a flexible base, you’ll shape the group’s control environment and lead audit planning and delivery.

You will engage with the Leadership team to scope, deliver and report on audits, guiding improvements and coordinating teams to ensure strong governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in audit, both in practice and internal
• ACA/ACCA qualified to drive governance and controls
• Experience coordinating audit teams and planning processes
• Ability to communicate complex issues to executives in plain English

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the Internal Audit plan from planning to reporting
• Influence Leadership to develop robust control frameworks
• Manage cross-group audits and co-source partners where needed
• Develop KPI dashboards and contribute to Audit Committee papers
• Drive continuous improvement of the audit methodology and outputs
