Job summary

Financial Times in London is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the French-speaking region, including France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and French-speaking African markets.

Reporting to the Head of New Business – CEMEA, you will own the regional sales plan and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract, while mentoring a Sales Development Representative and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Fluent French language skills required.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong consultative selling, communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience building credible relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Experience using CRM systems, especially Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver new business sales targets across the French-speaking region.
• Develop and implement the regional sales plan, identifying priority prospects and growth opportunities.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
• Lead, support and develop a Sales Development Representative.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and coordinate with Marketing and Customer Success.
