Job summary

GB Railfreight in the UK is seeking skilled Train Drivers to operate freight services safely, efficiently, and on time across the network. The role requires a valid Train Drivers Licence and in‑date traction competence.

Demonstrate a clean safety record, excellent communication and a collaborative mindset. Train Managers must reside within 45 minutes of their place of work. The shifts cover nights and a 34.5 hour week over four days, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Train Driver with valid Train Drivers Licence.
• Freight Train Driving Experience is essential to apply for this role, with in date Traction competence and Route knowledge.
• Clean safety record and commitment to operational excellence
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Customer-focused with excellent problem solving skills.
• Train managers must reside within 45 minutes of their place of work.
