GB Railfreight is recruiting for trainee train drivers. The programme includes a comprehensive 15-week classroom and practical training at our Peterborough facility, with no annual leave during training.
Successful candidates will undertake a TDLC medical and must reside within 45 minutes of West Mids, be aged 21 or older, and hold a clean UK manual car licence. The salary during training is £28,937 per year, reflecting commitment to growth and safety.
Training Plans
If successful, you will be required to attend a comprehensive training and assessment programme. This is led by our Training & Standards Department in our state of the art Training school in Peterborough, learning everything you need to obtain a Train Drivers Licence. Applicants must be available to complete the classroom training without disruption for 15 weeks (this means no annual leave). These training courses are planned to commence in coming months.
You must PASS a full TDLC railway medical ahead of the training course, we will arrange this for you if successful at interview stage.
Salary
The salary whilst training is £28,937 per annum.
