Freight Sales and Account Manager – Road and Sea Freight Forwarding

Locations: London, UK (UK Wide Remote Working Option)

Salary: circa. £50,000 per annum (DOE) + 10% Commission (Lifetime of Account)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5:30pm

Are you a results-driven, sales-hungry Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager or Key Account Manager looking for a new role in the heart of London? This role could be right for you!

My client offers a fantastic package to help grow their business in the Freight Forwarding sector. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and fully established salesperson who has previously worked for a UK-based Freight Forwarder and has the ability to bring on new accounts and business, with knowledge and experience in Road and Ocean/Sea Freight.

  • Flexible working – managing your own diary and week.
  • Uncapped Commission scheme (10% for the lifetime of the account).
  • Company Laptop and Phone included.
  • Opportunity for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent freight forwarding services.
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
  • Promote the company’s development by expanding its client base.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Freight Forwarding Sales, Account Management, or Business Development.
  • Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
  • Ability to bring new business would be advantageous.
  • Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
