Job summary

WR Logistics is seeking an Internal Sales Executive in the UK to drive freight forwarding sales and build lasting customer relationships. The role involves issuing competitive quotes, negotiating rates and converting opportunities into new business, with a hybrid arrangement of 1 day in the office.

You will work across Air, Sea and Road, leveraging CargoWise and MS Office tools, and collaborate with UK customers and international partners to secure shipments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' freight forwarding sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of the freight forwarding industry.
• Excellent customer service, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience pricing Air, Sea and Road freight.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Preparing competitive freight quotations, bids and tenders across Air, Sea and Road.
• Generating accurate quotes using CargoWise.
• Negotiating rates with airlines, shipping lines and overseas partners.
• Following up quotations and converting opportunities into new business.
• Building strong relationships with UK customers and international agents.
• Handling customer and pricing enquiries.
• Passing secured shipments smoothly to the Operations team.
