TLP is seeking a Freight Forwarding Assistant in Immingham, UK. The role supports import/export bookings, customs formalities, and coordination of road freight operations with a focus on efficient, compliant transport services.

You will work with an established team to ensure accurate quotations, invoicing, and day-to-day forwarding activities while maintaining high service levels and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel and Word for daily admin and reporting.
• Strong communication across levels and teams.
• Able to negotiate with suppliers and service providers.
• Experience with import/export processes and bookings.

Responsibilities

• Handle import/export bookings and customs formalities.
• Coordinate road freight operations within the EU.
• Support quotations through to invoicing and related admin.
• Develop and maintain efficient operational and service levels for customers.
