Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited invites applications for Freelance Site Engineer and Section Engineer roles on the HS2 project. You will contribute to delivering complex civil works with a focus on safety, quality and on-time progression across major works sites.

Roles are long-term freelance opportunities across Buckingham, Brackley and Chipping Warden, with immediate starts and competitive day rates, supporting a substantial pipeline of HS2 activity.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer or Section Engineer on major civil/infrastructure projects.
• Experience with structures, highways or earthworks as per project.
• CSCS card and full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works.
• Managing engineering activities on site.
• Interpreting drawings and technical specifications.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme.
• Producing and maintaining site records and QA documentation.
• Supporting subcontractors and site teams.
• Managing temporary works, permits and inspections.
• Liaising with Site Agents, Project Managers and wider delivery teams.
• Maintaining high quality and health & safety standards throughout the project.
