Job summary

Kenton Black Limited are seeking an on-site Supervisor for a major 70 million school development in the West Midlands, UK. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will supervise subcontract packages from groundworks through to internals, and ensure strict health & safety on site.

You will run progress meetings with subcontractors and clients, assist with changes to the programme, and support site inductions and related planning activities to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising subcontract packages on-site.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Attend progress meetings and coordinate with PM and clients.

Job description

70 Million new school development as part of the DfE framework. Project will involve part demolition of the existing sections of the school building and the construction of a new sports hall and teaching block, internal/external alterations to the existing building along with associated landscaping, car parking areas. Reporting in to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the supervision, health & safety and control of associated subcontract packages from groundworks through to internals, you will also be responsible for attending subcontractor/client progress meetings, assisting with any changes in programme including site inductions etc.
You will need to be full IT proficient as well as holding current CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates as a minimum requirement as they are mandatory requirements.
