Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Freelance Site Manager for a new build school fitout in Preston. Starting ASAP for 8-10 weeks, you will oversee joinery and fitout packages, manage trades, and ensure H&S compliance. Report to the Project Manager and senior management.

You will liaise with design teams, consultants, and client representatives, supporting commissioning and handovers. 4+ years in site management on commercial projects, CSCS/SMSTS, driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in commercial projects (offices, schools, colleges, universities).
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, Fire Marshal.
• Minimum of 4+ years experience in a Site Manager position.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Freelance Site Manager starting ASAP for a new build school fitout project, length is 8-10 weeks. Overseeing the joinery and fitout package looking after trades and labour.

Duties as a Freelance Site Manager

• Report directly to the Project Manager and senior management team
• Maintain H&S standards and ensure followed by contractors and subcontractors
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
• Liaise with client regularly
