Job summary

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a Freelance Site Manager for a 15-week window replacement scheme in Preston. This is a front-facing role requiring strong client liaison and coordination with subcontractors.

Starting ASAP, you will report to the Project Manager, uphold H&S standards, monitor progress, and support commissioning and handovers. A management background in commercial projects and a UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Manager in commercial (offices, schools, colleges, universities).
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Manager and senior management team
• Maintain H&S standards and ensure followed by contractors and subcontractors
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
• Liaise with client regularly
• Support commissioning and final handovers

Location: Preston
Salary: £260-280 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: 15-week window replacement scheme, long term

We are looking for a Freelance Site Manager for a 15 week commercial window replacement scheme in Preston, starting ASAP. This is not a technical job but will require relationship building with the client, local client etc so must be a front-facing manager.

• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives

Qualifications / Experience

• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
• Minimum of 4+ years experience in a Site Manager position
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
