Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Freelance Site Manager to oversee upcoming commercial and civils projects in Cumbria and the North, with site duties in Lancaster. You will report to the Project Manager, ensure HS compliance, monitor progress and liaise with design teams and clients on a day-rate basis.

The role requires CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and Fire Marshal certifications, plus 4+ years of site management experience and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Manager in commercial and civils.
• Certifications listed (CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, Fire Marshal) required.
• Minimum of 4+ years in a Site Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Manager and senior management.
• Maintain H&S standards and ensure compliance by contractors.
• Monitor site progress and ensure health & safety standards.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
• Liaise with client regularly and support handovers.
